Bone of my Bone Flesh of my Flesh

It’s that time of year again! Wedding season is here and I have written a poem inspired by marriage.

Bone of My Bone Flesh of My Flesh

‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’

This moment is very solemn holy weighty

Like the Kabod of God

Sanctified like Aaron’s rod

This is very sacred heavy worthy

Spirit has descended from above

To bless this union with his pure love

Of all heavenly ceremonies this is the most glorious

We are adorned with an anointing for just us

A mystery, a mirror of Christ and the Church

You have snatched me out of the fire and dawns star

Just like Jesus rescued his bride Ecclesia from darkness

A miracle, a milestone of Chris and Cady’s.
