As a Root Out of a Dry Ground

The following poem was written when I was in a dark place:

I climb up the wall, ladder and the hierarchy

I grow, blossom and release heavenly aromas

But no one picks me or even notices me

I don’t want to be a cornerstone the church builders neglected

I don’t want to be a rock on the shore but the sun in the sky

But what can I do or say when I’m always rejected?
